This new tap was designed with maximum productivity in mind. The unique geometry, special substrate material and coating provide a free cutting, high quality tap that lasts substantially longer than the nearest competitor. PM taps are very tough and have been developed to run in a wide variety of materials from aluminums and low carbon steels to alloy steels, and even stainless steels. This broad application range makes it an excellent choice as a high performance, general purpose tap that will enhance your tapping productivity in most applications.
